HAPPY THANKSGIVING

WA6OHPIn the United States of America the forth Thursday of November is a day of celebration and giving of thanks to God for His blessings. I personally could write books about all the ways God has personally blessed me but in the spirit of Thanksgiving I want to take this platform to express my thanks to some very special people.

Thank you to our men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces many of whom will not be able to be with their loved ones to celebrate today because they are defending us from those who would steal our freedom if defenders were not standing in the gap. My hearty thanks also to the Military men and women from other countries who are standing with us now and have stood with us in the past.

There will be parades today and many of these will have ham radio assistance (see the 11/08/2007 post on this blog).

Thank you to one and all who are reading this article and have a happy Thanksgiving Day. Even if it is not a holiday for you it can still be a day of thanksgiving as all days should be.
